God changes us from within, if we are willing to receive from Him! Recently my mind was getting filled with fear and doubt that we would ever find our own church building and things would improve – hopefully we would find a building in central London and all our problems would go away and our lives would become less stressful. I simply could not get through and stir up my faith – how ridiculous was that, considering God had done it before… you see the problems we face are really faith issues.

In fact, when I asked God to help me, God spoke and said “I am always here to help!”. He reminded me of a time long ago, when I had been a single parent and He had provided a home for me and my young son. At the time, I had kept reading this scripture wondering what it had to do with my life, as I had no desire to be a part of a family…

Psalms 68v6 (Amplified). God places the solitary in families and gives the desolate a home in which to dwell; He leads the prisoners out to prosperity; but the rebellious dwell in a parched land.
You see when the enemy comes against us with warfare that starts in our minds, it might feel like we’re trapped and there’s no way out, but God leads us to a place of peace as we pray and seek Him in His Word. God always leads us to the place of triumph.

If we’re going to learn to live our lives trusting God to bring us to that place of freedom, we need to train our minds to ensure that our thought-lives are pure and free from the entrapment that the enemy is constantly trying to ensnare us with. The Lord has instructed us not to accept negative thoughts as truth. God is good and kind, even in those times when life feels unfair, we can trust in Him to fulfil His word in our life.

Phillipians 4: 8 (Amplified). Finally, believers, whatever is true, whatever is honourable and worthy of respect, whatever is right and confirmed by God’s word, whatever is pure and wholesome, whatever is lovely and brings peace, whatever is admirable and of good repute; if there is any excellence, if there is anything worthy of praise, think continually on these things [centre your mind on them, and implant them in your heart].
God wants to manifest and help. He wants to deal with your thought-life and He wants for you to be Christ-like in your thinking. He wants you to celebrate the purity of a God-centred thought-life, because He knows the joy that this will bring to you. You can have peace and joy in the middle of a storm if your thoughts are stayed on God’s thoughts towards you.
Jeremiah 29 :11 (Amplified). For I know the thoughts and plans that I have for you, says the Lord, thoughts and plans for welfare and peace and not for evil, to give you hope in your final outcome.
Let’s not be conformed to this world and age and what people think, let’s be conformed to God’s ways. God makes all things work together for our good, and as we continue to think on things that are pure and just and of good report, our faith will be built up and we will see God’s good plans for our future come to pass.

First let’s ask for a NEW CLEAN HEART.

Psalm 51:10 (Amplified). Create in me a clean heart, O God, and renew a right, persevering, and steadfast spirit within me.
We can be victorious in the specific responsibilities God has given us, and it’s important to ask God’s Holy Spirit to help us to keep our thoughts fixed on what is pure and faith-filled, so that we can accomplish all that God has called us to do.
Matthew 5:8 (Amplified). Blessed (happy, enviably fortunate, and spiritually prosperous-possessing the happiness produced by the experience of God’s favour and especially conditioned by the revelation of His grace, regardless of their outward conditions) are the pure in heart, for they shall see God!
We pray that you will move forward with the Holy Spirit, and be a doer of the Word. You’re the only one who can spend time reading and meditating on the Word and keeping your mind pure and in faith – and God will help you through the challenges you face, and everything will work out.

You are God’s CHOSEN one in the Earth!

Stay blessed

Julie
